Abstrakt

Rock jointing is a ubiquitous feature of rocks. Formed at the moment of rock creation, joints exist within rocks during their evolution. Engineering geology sees rock jointing as a particular quality, for it largely defines physical and mechanical properties of rock and the interaction of rock massifs with constructions.
