Author Guidelines

Submission requirements – initial stage (for review)

The corresponding author uploads a blinded manuscript as a single PDF file. The manuscript must represent finished and complete work ready for review. No copyright declaration nor any other supplementary files are required at this stage. To ensure double-blind review, authors' names, affilations, addresses as well as thanks and acknowledgements must be removed from the PDF document. Metadata assiciated with the file should also be censored.

The submitting author may provide a list of a few suggested reviewers, recognised experts in a related discipline, preferrably from countries and institutions other than those of the authors. Their names, positions, affiliations and contact informations may be given in the Comments for the Editor section. It is also possible to provide a list of not preferred reviewers as well.

The submitting author should enter names and affiliations of all co-authors of the manuscript.

Submission requirements – final stage (for publication)

The corresponding author adds to the existing submission a single ZIP archive file containing:

  • a camera-ready PDF file
  • document source file(s) in LaTeX (preferred and recommended) or Microsoft Office Word (acceptable) format
  • images, charts, and figures in separate files; vector format preferred; in case of raster graphics 300 dpi or better resolution required
  • signed and scanned copyright declaration
Polish speaking authors are requested to formulate the paper title and the abstract both in English and Polish.

  • March 15th - camera-ready papers for volume 1
  • September 15th - camera-ready papers for volume 2

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscript presents original work, has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  2. The manuscript presents a complete and finished work, conforms to high scientific and ethical standards, is written in English, and is in PDF file format.
  3. The text is single-spaced; uses a 10-point font; employs italics rather than underlining. All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate locations rather than at the end.
  4. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal page.
  5. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
