About the Journal
The Journal of Raw Materials Engineering (JRME) follows the scientific and thematic tradition as well as thematic legacy established by the journals Górnictwo (1977–2003), subsequently Górnictwo i Geoinżynieria (2003–2021), and AGH Journal of Mining and Geoengineering (2012–2013), all published by AGH University Press. JRME addresses the broad field of raw materials engineering, extending and broadening the thematic scope of its predecessor journals, which were primarily focused on mining. The journal's new profile reflects contemporary research directions covering the entire raw materials value chain—from exploration and extraction, through processing, raw materials management, and environmental aspects, to circular economy and raw materials security. While maintaining its own editorial, organizational, and scientific identity, the Journal of Raw Materials Engineering further develops related research topics in an expanded and updated framework. An important aspect of its editorial policy is the strengthening of international collaboration through increased participation of international authors, reviewers, and Editorial Board members, as well as greater integration into the global exchange of scientific knowledge.
All the journals were scientifically edited and managed by researchers affiliated with the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Resource Management, formerly: Faculty of Mining and Geoengineering, AGH University of Krakow.
